Q1. How to deposit money (fiat) into my account 

  • Go to the ‘Wallets’ page. Select the option 'Deposit'. 

We currently offer two different deposit options – Interac E-Transfers and Wire Transfers. 

For Interac E-Transfers:

  • You will fill in the CAD amount you want to deposit, then click the 'Initiate Transfer' button.
  • Should this be your first ETransfer deposit, you will be requested to enter the email address associated with the bank account you are withdrawing funds from. You only need to do this once, all future Etransfer requests will not ask this question.
  • You will receive a confirmation email from CatalX, confirming your deposit request. Which will be followed shortly after, by an email from our service provider, Instant Digital, with detailed instructions on how to complete the transfer.

Q2. What do I do if the Financial Institution/Bank I use, is not an option through the service provider (Instant Digital) for Interac E-Transfers?

Our service provider does have a lot of Canadian Financial Institutions available through their E-Transfer network. A listing of all, can be found here.

Unfortunately, should your bank not be an option, you will need to send funds via a Wire Transfer.

Q2. What are the minimum & maximum deposit amounts?

The minimum deposit amount is $100 CAD, and the maximum deposit amount is $3,000 CAD per day, for each Interac E-Transfer transaction, up to a total of $10,000 CAD per week.

More information regarding Interac E-transfer limits, as well as terms and conditions, can be obtained through your financial institution directly.

Should you wish to process a larger deposit, please send funds via Wire Transfer.

Q3. How to withdraw money from my CatalX account?

  • Go to ‘Wallets’ page. Select the option 'Withdrawal'.

We currently offer, two different withdrawal options- Electronic Fund Transfers, and Wire Transfers.

For Electronic Fund Transfers:

  • You will fill in the amount in CAD you wish to withdraw, or the percentage of funds in your CatalX account that you wish to withdraw
  • Then click the 'Initiate Transfer' button.

You will receive a confirmation email of your withdrawal request from CatalX.

**Please Note: Payments/Withdrawals will be processed daily, but can take up to 5 business days to reach your bank account.

Q4. What are the minimum & maximum withdrawal amounts?

The minimum withdrawal amount is $100 CAD per transaction, and the maximum withdraw amount is $200,000 CAD per transaction.  

Q5. I did not receive a deposit/withdrawal confirmation email 

Should you not receive the email confirmation, please email our Customer Support Team and someone will respond to your query within 24 hours.

Q6. My Deposit did not arrive - Track my deposit

You will receive a confirmation email from your bank once the funds have been debited from your bank account.

Please keep in mind that this means the funds have been received by our service provider, and can take a few hours, before reaching it's final destination, of your CatalX account.

If it has been beyond 24hrs since you received the confirmation email from your bank and the funds still have not been deposited to your CatalX account, please email us.

Someone from our support team will respond to your query within 24 hours.

Q7. Where is my Withdrawal? Track my withdrawal

Withdrawals are processed daily and can take up to 9 business days to reach the bank account registered with your CatalX account.

If you still don’t receive the funds after 9 business days, please email us.
